Students need a valid study permit to be able to study in Canada at a designated learning Institution in Canada. Canada has been welcoming students from all over the world to study in their schools, colleges, polytechnics and universities.
Students can apply from outside Canada or from inside Canada and usually need to apply to a DLI of their choice well in advance for their desired term intake. Upon being accepted and receiving an offer letter from a DLI, they need to confirm their enrolment usually by accepting the offer by way of depositing an initial deposit. Students from some countries are eligible to apply under the SDS stream and may choose to benefit from this. Other requirements are providing proof of language skills, previous school transcripts and financial capability among others.
